1. DESCRIPTION OF ARBUTIN:
Arbutin is a natural plant compound extracted from the leaves of the bearberry. It is known for its ability to act on the skin’s pigment-producing cells and inhibit melanin synthesis. Very popular in Asia, arbutin is used to lighten the skin and reduce hyperpigmentation and melasma. Skin lightening occurs through the inhibition of pigment formation, which requires long-term use of about six weeks.
2. EFFECTS OF ARBUTIN:
Arbutin specifically targets melanin production in the skin and helps reduce the formation of dark spots. It promotes a more even skin tone and helps lighten hyperpigmentation. Arbutin works gently and is non-irritating, making it a safe choice for long-term skincare.
3. USES OF ARBUTIN:
Arbutin is a key ingredient in skin care products designed to lighten the skin and reduce pigmentation disorders.
4. SKIN PROBLEMS THAT ARBUTIN IS EFFECTIVE AGAINST:
- Hyperpigmentation and Melasma
- Uneven skin tone
- Premature Skin Aging and Wrinkles
- Skin that requires regulated melanin production
