Eleonora Berger - The Young Spirit Behind the Brand

Ever since I was little, I’ve been extremely curious and ambitious, but not in a relentless way. I simply wanted to know more, to understand more—but only because I wanted to, not because I was pressured by anyone or anything. For me, education means freedom. It goes hand in hand with independence and self-fulfillment. Everyone knows that knowledge is power. Once I’ve learned something, no one can take it away from me. That’s why I’ve always given it my ALL, delved deeper into topics than many others, and was simply interested from the ground up in everything happening around me. Of course, there were many challenges along the way—especially because I don’t fit the mold and was excluded by most people for years—but I always told myself: “You can do this! Don’t let anyone take away your joy of learning or your right to an education. With passion and discipline, ANYTHING is possible!” And in the end, I really did make it—thanks to my mother and my grandparents, who stood by me through thick and thin and supported me with advice and practical help.

I’m studying Management and Technology at the Technical University of Munich. This program covers both business and technological/scientific aspects—ideal for someone who’s running a business in the dynamic world of skincare. Juggling my studies and entrepreneurship can be a real challenge at times. It requires a lot of discipline, good time management, and setting priorities. But to be honest, I enjoy entrepreneurship and working on DOC BERGER EFFECT far more. I see my studies as an important theoretical foundation, of course, but my heart is with DOC BERGER EFFECT. When I look to the future, I see myself helping people all over the world feel good in their own skin. Everyone should experience the DOC BERGER EFFECT firsthand.

That’s why I pour all my energy into our brand in my free time, on weekends, at night, and whenever I can. It’s more than just a job to me—it’s my passion, and I love seeing how our skincare products make a positive difference in people’s lives.

My passion for the world of beauty was sparked mainly by my mother, Dr. Luise Berger. I was always by her side, witnessing her successes, her patients’ stories, and her valuable experiences. I’ve seen firsthand how she enhances the lives of many women—both outwardly and inwardly—whether through Botox or fillers to smooth out wrinkles or through body-transforming procedures such as tummy tucks, breast augmentations, or breast reductions. The enthusiasm and positive feedback from her patients have deeply impressed me.

Also, as someone who is one-quarter Japanese, I’ve noticed during my many visits to Japan how much younger and healthier people there look. The quality of their skin has always fascinated me. So when my mother came up with the idea of launching her own skincare line—one that really works, while also being clean and sustainable—I was immediately on board.

My own teenage years also brought with them additional personal skin problems, such as dry and blemished skin. Talking with friends and other young people who have similar problems further strengthened my desire to make a difference.

Now that I'm building DOC BERGER EFFECT together with my mother, it's not just about beauty for me. It's about a mission: Everyone should have the chance to feel comfortable in their own skin.

1. Don't touch the pimple: As tempting as it may be, squeezing it or constantly touching it can spread bacteria and make the inflammation worse.
2. Cleanse Your Skin: The combination of cleansing foam and toner ( double cleansing) is a must for keeping blemishes at bay.
3. Exfoliants: Fruit acid peels gently remove the outermost layer of skin, allowing the skin to renew itself more quickly and alleviating keratinization disorders.

I start every morning with a double cleanse using Foam Intense and Tonic Intense to thoroughly cleanse my pores and restore the optimal pH balance for my subsequent skincare routine. Next, I apply the Anti-Pollution Day Cream, which protects me from sunlight, blue light, and infrared radiation. In the evening, after cleansing my face again with the Foam and Tonic, I apply the Purifying Power Serum. It helps me prevent breakouts and soothe inflammation. After that, I use the Retinol Serum, which works wonders in many ways by refining pores, firming the skin, boosting collagen production, and reducing fine lines. To finish, I use the Collagen Night Cream, which regenerates my skin overnight and enhances the effects of the serums by delivering their active ingredients deep into the skin. In addition, I exfoliate one to three times a week—this helps remove dead skin cells and maximizes the effectiveness of my entire skincare routine.

Start as early as possible! Skincare is definitely not something that only becomes relevant in your mid-30s. It’s not about following a complicated or time-consuming skincare routine. Just like daily habits such as brushing your teeth or taking a shower, skincare should be a natural part of your daily routine. Spending just 90 seconds each morning and evening on basic skincare can make a huge difference in the long run. Skincare products with active ingredients are an investment in yourself that will keep you looking radiant not just today, but for many years to come.

What I love most about the DOC BERGER EFFECT products is our unique cream base with phosphatidylcholine (PC). This active ingredient acts as a penetration enhancer, improving the bioavailability and absorption of active ingredients into the skin.
