No, sustainability is very important to us. While we all know the importance of sun protection, it’s less well known that many conventional day creams and sunscreens can contain ingredients that are harmful to the environment. These often include chemical UV filters and nanoparticles, which can not only be problematic for human skin but also have serious impacts on our ecosystems. These substances can cause significant harm to marine life when they enter the water. Conventional UV filters are suspected of disrupting the delicate balance of coral reefs, contributing to coral bleaching, or even affecting the entire food chain. To minimize the impact on our oceans and reefs, we use responsible, eco-friendly filters in our day cream and completely avoid nanoparticles, both in solid and liquid form.
Although our day cream contains many effective ingredients, we recommend using a special night cream for nighttime. The main function of the day cream is to protect your skin from harmful influences and oxidative stress. However, regeneration takes place at night, so the night cream is more focused on the skin’s repair processes and recovery. We currently offer two different night creams, depending on your skin type and individual needs: the Collagen Night Cream for dry and sensitive skin, and the Time Machine for normal/combination skin.
