1. DESCRIPTION OF BISABOLOL:
Bisabolol, known as the active ingredient in chamomile, is a highly valued ingredient in skincare. It is characterized by its skin compatibility and its many beneficial properties. Bisabolol has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, soothing, and regenerative effects. These properties make it an ideal ingredient for caring for sensitive, irritated, and inflamed skin.
2. EFFECTS OF BISABOLOL:
Bisabolol works by blocking prostaglandin synthesis, thereby reducing the release of inflammatory mediators. This results in significant relief from skin inflammation and irritation. In addition to its anti-inflammatory properties, bisabolol provides antioxidant protection and strengthens the skin barrier, which improves skin elasticity and protects against environmental damage.
3. USES OF BISABOLOL:
Bisabolol is a versatile ingredient in skin care products, particularly those designed for sensitive and irritated skin. It is often found in facial oils and, due to its gentle properties, is also used in baby and children’s care products, as well as in after-sun products and post-shave soothing products.
