DESCRIPTION OF GLUCONOLACTONE

Gluconolactone is an innovative active ingredient from the polyhydroxy acids (PHA) group and is one of the latest trends in skincare. Unlike traditional AHA fruit acids such as glycolic or lactic acid, gluconolactone is particularly gentle and is therefore also suitable for sensitive or dry skin. It supports skin regeneration, provides intense hydration, and strengthens the skin barrier at the same time. In addition, gluconolactone has antioxidant properties and protects the skin from harmful free radicals.

EFFECTS OF GLUCONOLACTONE

Gluconolactone has a variety of benefits: It gently exfoliates dead skin cells without causing irritation and helps create a more even, smoother complexion. Thanks to its highly moisturizing properties, it plumps the skin and reduces visible dryness lines. At the same time, it improves skin elasticity, soothes irritated skin, and provides additional anti-aging protection through its antioxidant effects.

USES OF GLUCONOLACTONE

Gluconolactone is found in numerous skincare products such as serums, cleansing foams, toners, creams, and masks. This active ingredient is particularly popular in anti-aging products, skincare for sensitive skin, and formulations that combine exfoliation and hydration. Thanks to its high tolerability, it is suitable for daily use, even on sensitive skin that cannot tolerate traditional AHA acids.
