1. DESCRIPTION OF SUCCINIC ACID / AMBER ACID
Succinic Acid, also known as Amber Acid, is a natural dicarboxylic acid originally derived from amber and today mainly produced through sustainable biotechnological processes. In skincare, Succinic Acid is especially valued for its clarifying, balancing, and antioxidant properties. It is ideal for skin prone to blemishes, excess sebum, and redness.
2. BENEFITS OF SUCCINIC ACID / AMBER ACID
• Regulates sebum production, bringing oily and blemish-prone skin back into balance
• Has anti-inflammatory properties and calms irritated skin
• Protects as an antioxidant against free radicals and oxidative stress
• Supports the regeneration of skin cells
• Helps maintain elasticity and prevents the first signs of skin aging
3. USES OF SUCCINIC ACID / AMBER ACID
At DOC BERGER EFFECT, Succinic Acid is used in the Foam Intense Cleansing Foam. This intensive cleanser is the first step of the Double Cleansing ritual and, together with the Tonic Intense, forms the perfect foundation for an effective skincare routine.
